OVO Sound boss Drake and Tory Lanez are putting on for their city instead of destroying it. The one-time rap rivals have put their differences behind them and united.
Tory went to Twitter Thursday (May 18) with a dope pic of himself linked up with the 6 God.
Recently, Drake playfully acknowledged some Tory Lanez-inspired trolling.
Back in March, speculation grew over Drake possibly dissing Tory on his More Life album.
“You overnight celebrity you one day star/I swear I told you I’m in this b*tch for eternity/I am a reflection of all of your insecurities/Behind closed doors a lot of 6 God worshipping/Done talk now ‘cause there’s other sh*t that concerning me,” Drake offers on “Do Not Disturb.” On the most basic level, this could be a play on Tory’s given name, Daystar Peterson. There’s also the not so subtle reference to I Told You, which was the title of Tory’s 2016 studio album. (Complex)
Last year, Lanez talked about Drizzy staying locked into his movement.
“I’m just a young kid. Me personally, I don’t think I’m even hot enough to be getting dissed. But hey, at the end of the day he must look at me as a threat. The music is appealing and I don’t know why he did it, but more blessings to him.” (Shade 45)
